The Lord has laid on my heart that worship is the highest form of prayer. The highest form of prayer is not in our asking petitions, raising our needs that we would like to see met, nor is it in praying for others that we rise to that high level. It is in worship and praise of our Father, God. It is God’s heart that we be so focused on Him–that He holds first place in our praise and affections. God said for His people to not have other gods before Him. Have you ministered to the heart of God lately, worshipping and praising Him in His holiness? There have been times in our church where God has asked me if I will just take all the time to worship and praise Him. There are so many things in my heart to praise God for, so that it is not a difficult thing for me to do.

I am so thankful that God chose me. It isn’t that I choose God. If God did not draw each one of us to Jesus, none of us could be saved, according to Jesus’ words in John 6:44.

No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save He which is of God, He hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you. He that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.     John 6:44-47

Titus 2:11 declares “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” Nobody is left out. All can be saved.

That grace came through Jesus. He lived a perfect life, never having sinned. Then He died on the cross shedding His pure sinless blood. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says that “God made Jesus Who knew no sin to become sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” I praise God for the way made sure by Jesus, Who fulfilled God’s plan on earth that I might be born again. Adam and Eve, when they fell in the Garden of Eden by eating the forbidden fruit, were removed from God’s Kingdom. They were taken out of God’s Kingdom and placed into Satan’s domain. We all were born under Satan’s domain because of the sin of Adam and Eve. However, as we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are born again into the Kingdom of God to live eternally with Him. I worship and praise God today because I know my future is settled. If I were to die this very day, I know where I am going. I am going to live eternally with my precious Lord and Savior, Jesus, making Heaven my home.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you can do so today. To find out how to do that, click on Are You Ready?

How can I not worship and praise God today? My sins, which were many, are all washed away. The Bible in Ephesians 2:4-10 actually says that, while I was yet in sin, Jesus became sin for me. I am so thankful that Jesus paid the price for me. My penalty was laid on Him. He has already born the penalty that should have been laid on me for my sins. I don’t have to pay for my sins. Jesus has already done it for me.

Then I see the promises that belong to me that God placed in His Word, the Bible.

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.      2 Peter 1:2-4

God gave us His precious promises so that we could, by those promises, partake of the divine nature of God and escape the snares and traps that lusting after the things of the world will bring. Glory be to the Father God, the Almighty Living God of the Universe, my Creator and my Lord!! Anywhere I see His precious promises in His Word, I can know that is His will and plan for me.

Look again at 2 Peter 1:3. This says that God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. That means I have everything I need for my life, my every day living, and my health because God has already provided it for me. Also, included in that is my godliness. To me that means that He has given me whatever I will need to walk holy and right as a child of the Living God.

I believe that we are in the last days. Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle. Jesus is the head. The church is the body. You and I as children of God, are the church, the body of Christ. If Jesus is coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle, then we need to partake of what God has put into place for our godliness.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and do of His good pleasure.    Philippians 2:12-13

The above Scripture says that we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, for God is, all the while, working in us to will and do of His good pleasure. Yes, we make choices to go on for God, but God is, all the while, working in each one of us to see that we make it. I praise God for that. I praise Him that He didn’t leave it to me to have to have the will power and strength in myself to always make the right decision for the glory of God.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.     2 Corinthians 3:18

We can praise and worship God because He’s changing us into His image. He is working His glory in us to come up higher in Him.

I am not ashamed: for I know Whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.     2 Timothy 1:12

Glory be to God! He is seeing to me. I, like Paul, trust Him to keep all that I have committed to Him and to walk me through the valley to the glorious day of my eternity with Him. O, I thank Him for that. I feel so blessed.

    I worship You, Father, God.

The very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.      1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Sometimes, I look at the journey and know in my own strength and power I would never make it. The Scripture above is a prayer written by Paul declaring that the very God of peace would sanctify them wholly. Sanctify means to be set apart unto Him. Paul prayed that they would be preserved blameless. That means I can be preserved blameless. Praise God.

God is faithful, and Paul said that, if God has called us, He would finish out the work in us to become a body without spot or wrinkle. All glory be to God! We know our spirit man becomes born again when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Through Jesus, our spirits become blameless. But, the soul–our mind, will, and emotions–now that is another story. Praise God that God can look at us in all our human frailties and see us transformed from glory to glory to become that perfect blameless one.

Thank You, Jesus. Work Your glory in each one of us to become that perfect vessel for You and Your Kingdom.

God is able to keep us on track, as we seek His face and walk in obedience to His leading. Aren’t you thankful that we don’t have to walk this life apart from Him. I praise God that we can all go in His strength.

Everything that Jesus put in place at Calvary–where Jesus died–belongs to us. Isaiah 53 shows us what belongs to us because Jesus was faithful to die on the cross in our place.

Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.       Isaiah 53:4-5

That is all part of our atonement. It is what Jesus put in place for all of us. He chose to sacrifice Himself, taking all the wounds, the bruises, and the chastisement upon Himself so we could walk free. Jesus bought us back from Satan, redeemed us through His pure sinless blood, and took the stripes upon His back that tore into His flesh so you and I could be healed. Praise God! Before I was born again, I remember very clearly how it was to have no peace in my life. Fear and worry were my constant companions. BUT, JESUS! Glory, Hallelujah! Jesus took upon Himself the chastisement that should have been mine, so that I could have peace. I treasure peace.

Thank You, Jesus, for bringing me peace.

I worship Father, God today for sending Jesus, His one and only Son to pay the price for me. I worship Jesus today for being faithful to the call of the Father to make of Himself the sacrifice that bore once and for all the penalty of the sins of the whole world. I worship Jesus for being obedient to the cross so I can partake of His peace, His love, His redemption, His healing, His salvation, and His life in me. I praise God because I don’t face lonely days any more. He is always with me.

I can face eternity today unafraid because my Jesus lives and dwells in me day by day. The following are some of His promises that I depend on every day.

Isaiah 26:3 - God will keep me in perfect peace because my mind is stayed on Him, and I trust Him.

1 John 4:4 - Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.

Colossians 1:13:14 - He hath delivered me from the power of darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of His dear Son.

Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.

Isaiah 48:17 - He teaches me to profit.

Psalm 23 - He leads me by still waters and restores my soul. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Ephesians 4:20 - My God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than I can ask or think according to the power that works in me.

Psalm 32:8 - He instructs and teaches me where to go and guides me with His eye.

Hebrews 10:19 - I have access to enter into the Holiest where God is, through the blood of Jesus.

Revelation 12:9-11 - I have overcoming power in the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and the words of my testimony.

1 John 2:20 - The Holy One has given me an unction (or anointing) and He causes me to know all things.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 - I am in Christ Jesus, and He is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

Romans 6:14 - Sin shall not have dominion over me because I am under grace.

2 Peter 2:9 - The Lord knows how to deliver me out of temptations.

Deuteronomy 28 - The blessings of Abraham are mine.

I choose to say about myself what the Word of God says about me. It says that I am an overcomer. Peace is mine. I am healed, delivered, and free because of the blood of Jesus and the beatings that He took for me. I am sanctified, redeemed, justified, made righteous, and anointed to know truth. Jesus is made unto me the wisdom of God. He is my High Priest, and He makes a way out of every temptation for me. Sin’s power is broken in my life because I am no longer under the law of sin and death, but I am under the grace of Jesus.

     • How can I not but worship my wonderful, blessed Savior and Lord, My Father God, and the Holy Spirit who walks with me day by day?

     • How can I not worship Him in the beauty of His Holiness?

    • How can I not give Him the glory and honor due His name?

I rejoice because I am never alone, no matter where I might be. Jesus is always with me. I don’t have to worry because I trust Him with my life and with the lives of those whom I love. O, there are many other reasons why I praise and thank God–for my family that loves me, my home, and our daily provision. On and on, I could go. But, I am most thankful for, and I worship and praise my God most for, what He has put in place for me in making me His child. Because of that, I don’t walk alone and am empowered by Him to be able to see and understand right choices. With Him, I am able to walk away from temptations and the traps of the devil because God strengthens and enables me to do it. I can walk into His glorious light.

I praise and worship the Father today because He exists and He loves me with an abiding and ever-faithful love. Will you praise God with me today for His great love to us, His children?

If you don’t have peace and joy today, why not consider what you are doing with the cares and concerns of life. If you are trying to carry them when God’s Word tells you to cast all your cares on Him, then you are putting a burden on yourself that God never meant for you to carry. Before I accepted Jesus, I had many days of strife, confusion and fear. I now cherish the peace of God as a wonderful friend.

Another area of life to check if you do not have peace and joy is if you are walking in disobedience to a direction that God has given you. I have found that the most blessed place in life to be is walking in obedience to what God has called me to do. There is the pathway of peace and joy.

A further lack of peace could be established through the words of one’s mouth. As children of the Living God, we need to be speaking the things that the Scriptures say about us, rather than the bad report. Psalm 103:20 says that angels hearken to the voice of the Word. If one is saying all the negatives including things that appear in the natural, God’s angels have nothing to work with that is positive. By appropriating the blood of Jesus and keeping our mouths saying what already belongs to us, we put ourselves in line to be overcomers. It is the promises that God has given to us that give us everything pertaining to life and godliness. I praise God for His wonderful promises and all that He has put in place for all of us. I always think that God could have done so much less and that still would have been wonderful. But, He chose to do it all. He didn’t leave anything out. O, Praise God with me!

God has given us everything that we need to succeed in this life. It is up to us to use everything that God has given to bring the success to ourselves that He has purposed for us to have. God loves you and is ever faithful to His Word. You can trust Him today.

FATHER GOD, JESUS, AND HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, WE WORSHIP YOU!!!

As I was writing this, God laid on my heart “Declare My Praise”, which is on the next page. I think that it will bless you.
