Father, in Jesus’s name
Will You get me the wisdom I need for this day?
Will You lead me and guide me all along the way?
Will You make a way where none appears to be?
Will You cause me through Your all-seeing eyes to see
The way to go, the path made plain,
The very next step, for me to remain
In Your perfect will, in Your place for me?
O Master, lead me where I need to be.
It is Your heart I need this day.
It is Your will I seek to obey.
It is in the place that You would have me be,
That is my desire, my heart to be.
Let Heaven come to earth this day
And invade my life and circumstance.
In all I say, in all I do,
Let me view my day to see it clear
Through the mind of Christ in vision appear
Your thoughts, Your desires, Your call on my life.
Only You I desire.
O let me come up higher in You.
May this day be blessed
With Your presence sweet.
May You show me Your heart
And the way to defeat
Every obstacle that I find
In my pathway here.
May I walk out Your walk,
And walk it without fear.
I’ll boldly declare Your praise.
To You my anthem I’ll raise.
I ask for life in Your midst.
I’ll cause You to be first and foremost in my life.
O Lord, please help me to be
All in You that I can be.
From glory to glory You are changing me.
May Your glory work in me what I need to be.
I surrender my will, my self, my being
To You, To Your way this day.
O cause me to be perfected and made right.
So I can bless You and walk on in Your light.
Perfect my going, I pray.
I give thanks to You this day.
